Extension vs the core platform
The extension is a capture and read-only insights layer that follows you across the web. The core platform is the system of record where diligence, IC, portfolio and LP reporting live on one record. Both share the same data layer, provenance and mandate-scoped access.

The side panel and insights rail are tuned for the surfaces investment teams actually live in. It also works on any page for quick-capture and send-to-workspace.

When can I install it?
The Chrome extension is in final review with the Chrome Web Store. Join the waitlist and we will email you the install link on launch day.
Which browsers will it support?
Chrome first. Because it is built on Manifest V3, it also runs on Chromium-based browsers: Edge, Brave, Arc, Opera and Vivaldi.
Do I need a Reuben AI account?
Yes. The extension signs in with your existing Reuben AI workspace using Google OAuth. Every action inherits your workspace role and permissions.
What data does it read?
Only the page you actively use the extension on. There is no background scraping. The Insights Rail is read-only, and nothing writes to your workspace without an explicit click.
Does it work for private credit, PE or family office workflows?
Yes. The extension is workflow-agnostic. It reflects whatever pipelines, mandates and coverage you have configured in your Reuben AI workspace.
Do I need a separate CRM?
No. Reuben AI's native pipeline works out of the box and covers deal flow, contacts and portfolio in one place. If you already run HubSpot, Salesforce, Affinity, Pipedrive, Airtable, Attio, DealCloud or 4Degrees, two-way sync is on the roadmap so the extension writes back into whichever system of record you keep alongside Reuben AI.
