Reuben AI

    Partner archetype

Decision infrastructure for settlement and tokenisation platforms

Settlement and transaction platforms are judged on reliability and reconciliation. The decision that precedes a transaction, and the record that has to survive after it, usually live somewhere else. Reuben AI supplies both as an embedded layer, without touching client money or the settlement rail itself.

A transaction platform does one job extremely well: it moves value between parties and reconciles the result. That discipline is why it is trusted. It also means the platform sees a transaction as an instruction rather than as the end of a decision process, so the reasoning, the eligibility evidence and the supporting documents sit in email, in a data room, or in a counterparty's own systems.

Regulated distributors, fund managers and their advisers increasingly have to produce that reasoning on demand. When the record is scattered, reconstruction is manual and slow, and it happens under time pressure.

Reuben AI attaches the decision layer to the transaction without changing the rail. Eligibility and onboarding evidence is captured before the instruction, the reasoning behind the allocation is retained, and post-transaction reporting is generated from the same record. Reuben AI is software: it does not hold client money and it does not settle anything.

Tokenisation platforms solve issuance and transferability. The parts that remain stubbornly conventional are the parts around the token: confirming that a holder is eligible in their jurisdiction, holding the diligence that supports the underlying asset, retaining the reasoning behind a subscription, and reporting to holders on a normal cadence.

Those requirements come from securities regulation and from investor expectation, and neither changes because the record is on a different rail.

    What you already own

    • The transaction rail and its reliability
    • Reconciliation and settlement records
    • Counterparty connectivity
    • Operational controls on movement of value
    • Issuance and the token rail
    • Transfer mechanics and on-chain records

    What is missing today

    • Pre-transaction eligibility and suitability evidence in one place
    • The reasoning behind an allocation, retained with the transaction
    • Document and identity records that survive the transaction lifecycle
    • Post-transaction reporting generated from the same record
    • Jurisdiction-aware eligibility evidence for holders
    • Asset-level diligence attached to the offering

    How the layer applies

    Research and decisioning

Attach mandate and suitability reasoning to an instruction before it is sent.

    Diligence and evidence

Hold the evidence pack that supports the transaction, with sources attributed.

    Transaction and onboarding workflow

Run eligibility, onboarding and allocation steps that precede settlement.

    Portfolio and reporting operations

Generate statements and reporting from settled positions.

    Integration surface

    • API for pre-transaction checks and record retrieval
    • Event subscription on settlement status
    • Embedded evidence and document views
    • Per-tenant data residency selection
    • API alongside the token rail, not on it
    • Event ingestion for issuance and transfer

    Client and platform inputs

Mandates, documents, data, questions and prior decisions enter one governed record.

    Research and screening
    Living diligence
    Investment committee
    Ownership and review

    One fully sourced decision record

Evidence, questions, committee decisions and later changes remain connected, and findings roll up from each holding to the full portfolio.

    What your clients get

    Research and thesis fit
Diligence findings at asset, vehicle, fund and manager level
    IC memo and decision record
    Monitoring and portfolio reporting
Your platform keeps the brand and client relationship. Reuben AI provides the continuing decision layer underneath.

    Questions from this archetype

Does Reuben AI touch client money?

No. Reuben AI is software. It does not hold client money, does not act as a payment institution, and does not settle transactions. It holds the decision record and the operational workflow around the transaction.

    Does this replace our reconciliation?

No. Reconciliation stays on the platform. The layer consumes settlement outcomes as events and uses them to keep positions and reporting current.

    How is the record retained?

Each decision carries a provenance chain: the underlying data, the reasoning, the people involved and the approvals. It is retrievable for the life of the relationship, subject to the retention terms the partner sets.

Does Reuben AI operate on chain?

No. Reuben AI sits alongside the rail. It consumes issuance and transfer events and holds the evidence, reasoning and reporting around them.

Does tokenisation remove the eligibility requirement?

No. Eligibility requirements come from securities regulation in each jurisdiction and apply regardless of how ownership is recorded.

Can holder reporting look like conventional fund reporting?

Yes. Statements and periodic reporting are generated from live records in the format holders and their advisers expect.
