Decision infrastructure for distribution networks and intermediary channels

A distribution network's asset is reach: intermediaries, wholesale channels and adviser groups that can place a product. The weakness is that everything after the introduction happens in thousands of unconnected processes, so the network cannot evidence suitability discipline, cannot see why product moved, and cannot improve what it puts in front of whom. Reuben AI supplies a mandate-aware decision and operations layer across the channel, behind the network brand.

Reach is expensive to build and easy to underuse. A network that can put a product in front of thousands of intermediaries has real leverage, but the leverage stops at the introduction. Each intermediary then runs its own process on its own documents, and the network learns only whether a subscription arrived. Nothing accumulates.

Two costs follow. The first is commercial: without a record of the reasoning behind placements, product selection and channel targeting stay a matter of instinct. The second is regulatory pressure that keeps increasing, because a network that facilitates placement is increasingly expected to evidence the discipline applied across its channel, not just the paperwork at the end.

An embedded layer gives each intermediary a tenant with its own mandate, and gives the network a consistent process across the channel without dictating each intermediary's judgement. Assessments are made against the intermediary's mandate. Evidence carries its sources. Onboarding, eligibility, subscription and reporting run inside the network surface, so activity and record stay in one place.

Reuben AI is software. It does not hold client money, settle transactions, distribute securities or act as a licensed intermediary. Licensing, suitability duties and filings remain with the network and its members.

    What you already own

    • Reach across intermediaries, wholesale channels and adviser groups
    • Product and manager relationships
    • Channel enablement, training and marketing
    • The commercial relationship with both sides of the placement

    What is missing today

    • A shared process after the introduction, without overriding member judgement
    • Evidence of the discipline applied across the channel
    • Visibility of why product was placed or passed
    • Consolidated reporting for members and for the network itself

    How the layer applies

    Research and decisioning

Each intermediary tenant holds its own mandate; assessment reflects the member, not the network.

    Diligence and evidence

One evidence standard across the channel, with sources and attribution tiers on each claim.

    Transaction and onboarding workflow

Eligibility, subscription and allocation inside the network surface, evidence reused.

    Portfolio and reporting operations

Member-level reporting plus a network view built from the same records.

    Integration surface

    • White-label surface for member-facing workflow
    • API for product ingestion and placement events
    • Webhooks on status and decision events
    • SSO against the existing member identity

    Client and platform inputs

Mandates, documents, data, questions and prior decisions enter one governed record.

    Research and screening
    Living diligence
    Investment committee
    Ownership and review

    One fully sourced decision record

Evidence, questions, committee decisions and later changes remain connected, and findings roll up from each holding to the full portfolio.

    What your clients get

    Research and thesis fit
Diligence findings at asset, vehicle, fund and manager level
    IC memo and decision record
    Monitoring and portfolio reporting
Your platform keeps the brand and client relationship. Reuben AI provides the continuing decision layer underneath.

    Questions from this archetype

Do members lose their own judgement?

No. Each member tenant holds its own mandate and criteria. The layer standardises the process and the evidence standard, not the conclusion.

Can the network see member data?

Only what the arrangement permits. Member data sits in an isolated tenant, and network-level visibility is configured explicitly rather than assumed.

Does this make the network a distributor of securities?

Nothing about the layer changes the network's regulatory position. Reuben AI is software and does not distribute securities.
