Coexistence with the stack you already run
Most platforms considering this already run a system of record, a warehouse and a reporting stack that works. The layer is designed to sit beside them: your system stays authoritative, the warehouse keeps receiving what it receives, and the layer adds mandate-aware decisioning, evidence and workflow on top. Migration is an option, not a precondition.
Your warehouse keeps its feed
Reporting and analytics teams do not need to change where they read from. Decision, evidence and workflow output is available through the API and as events, so it can land in the warehouse alongside everything else and feed the dashboards that already exist.
What the warehouse gains is a class of data it did not previously hold: the reasoning behind a decision, the sources behind a claim, and the state transitions of an operational workflow, all keyed to the same entities it already tracks.
Existing reporting stacks
Where a reporting stack is already in place and clients like the output, the sensible pattern is to keep it and let the layer supply the figures with their provenance. Where the reporting stack is the thing partners want to replace, the layer generates packs and statements from live records instead.
A sequence that does not disturb operations
Start read-only against real records for one segment, so the output can be compared with what the current process produces. Add write-back for one workflow. Then extend by capability rather than by user count, which keeps every step reversible and keeps the operations team out of a big-bang cutover.
- Read-only on real records, one segment
- Write-back for one workflow
- Extend by capability, not by headcount
- Review against a date fixed before starting
What does not move
Settlement, custody, registry and administration steps stay where they are, with you or your licensed counterparties. Reuben AI does not hold client money and does not settle transactions. The layer records and coordinates those steps rather than performing them, which is what allows it to be added without touching your licensed arrangements.
Frequently asked
Do we have to migrate historical data?
No. Historical records can stay where they are. Bringing history in is worthwhile only where a workflow needs it, and that is a decision per segment.
Will this duplicate our warehouse?
It should not. The warehouse keeps its role, and the layer supplies additional data to it rather than becoming a second analytics destination.
What if we already have an AI feature in production?
Then the useful comparison is narrow: run both on the same segment and compare the evidence output, not the summaries. Attribution discipline is usually where the difference shows.
